William Friedkin Tribute Posters

One of the masters has left us. WILLIAM FRIEDKIN passed away August 7 2023 at the age of 87 and will always be one of the greatest filmmakers ever. 

His back-to-back masterpieces THE FRENCH CONNECTION and THE EXORCIST remain monoliths that tower over almost everything else in the storied era of The New Hollywood. A decade later he revolutionised the policier with TO LIVE AND DIE IN LA, then had a late-career renaissance with BUG and KILLER JOE, both crackling potboilers with an energy that eludes most filmmakers half his age. He will be dearly missed.
